As women, we sometimes find that life
doesn’t offer enough time to fit in all the many duties we have.
However, in spite of all our challenges, we must take the time to simply
fellowship and worship with other women who have “like mindedness”.
This gives us strength and courage to face those difficult situations
in life when the devil tries to tell us that we are all alone or that
nobody else faces these type of problems. As we meet each month, we
grow closer as a body and provide support for one another. Please feel
free to join us, every 2nd Sunday of each month at 5:00 p.m. in our
fellowship hall. We laugh a lot, share a lot, and sometimes cry a lot;
but, whatever we do, we enjoy one another’s company. God is moving
among our women... come and be a part of this unique time we have set
aside as our own. |

Here
we go...2008!! Time has such a way of flying by (especially when you
are having so much fun). Many of us have come through some very difficult
situations this past year too, but God always carries us to victory
on the other side. I wish I had the time to share the testimonies that
many of
our ladies have talked about. We have had many come through serious physical
illnesses, overcoming triumphs financially and family circumstances
that God alone could take the credit for correcting. We serve a mighty
big God who loves to love his people! Let me encourage you to take
all your needs before the Lord. He alone can and will make things work
out in your favor! |
Hidden Destiny The devotional was taken from the short book of Ruth found in the old testament of the Bible. It is a book with tremendous inspiration for us as women. It shows us that no matter what circumstances we may find ourselves in, God is still in control! In this book, Naomi lost her husband and both of her sons. She was without hope. However, God was still moving on her behalf in spite of what things appeared to be like. Ruth, her daughter-in-law, remained faithful to her and was determined to never leave her or forsake her. After many trials and tribulations, God brought these two women to a place of wealth and establishment within the community. But wait...it gets even better...(Isn’t it just like God to keep giving and giving just when you think it can’t get any better?) After providing Ruth with a wonderful husband, Boaz, he also gave her a son, Obed. This turns out to be a direct descendant of Jesus Christ himself! No doubt about it, these two women never expected to be given so much, much less such a place in history. However, due to their faithfulness and steadfastness, God was able to give them abundantly above and beyond what they could ever imagine. I would like to challenge you with the same. Stop looking at your circumstances and just be comforted in the fact that God is for you and never against you. If you, too, will remain faithful and steadfast before the Lord, he will direct your path just as he did for Naomi and Ruth. God has great plans for you! |
